Merchants' entry rules

Cost of settlement: The platform does not charge platform application fees and technical service fees, but will charge a certain percentage of transaction fees based on the actual transaction amount of the merchant.

Deposit: Temu Different deposit payment standards are set according to the business category selected by the merchant and the estimated sales volume. As the sales volume increases, the deposit standards may be adjusted. Merchants can apply for a refund of the deposit on the premise of complying with platform rules, completing established sales tasks, and having no violations.

2. Commodity pricing rules

Seller's pricing: Sellers can set prices for goods based on their own costs, market conditions, and other factors, but this price is not the final selling price.

Platform pricing: The final selling price is determined by the platform based on factors such as buyer quotes, market demand, group buying situations, etc., and the platform has the final pricing authority.

Shipping Fee Rules

Based on the store dimension, an order below $30 will not include free shipping by default, with a flat shipping fee of $2.99 per order; free shipping for orders over $30. All 49 states in the continental United States require delivery, while delivery to other remote areas can be customized. The shipping rules for delivery areas are the same as above (an order can contain multiple items).

4. Transaction settlement rules

Settlement period: Usually T+15, that is, within 15 working days after the seller completes the sale, the platform will transfer the payment to the seller's bank account. However, the actual settlement period may be affected by factors such as bank processing speed, holidays, etc.

Settlement amount: The platform will deduct advertising fees, service fees, and other expenses from the seller's sales on the platform, and then transfer the remaining funds to the seller's bank account. Sellers can view detailed settlement amounts and fee details in the background.

Settlement Currency: Supports multiple currency settlements, such as US dollars, RMB, etc. Sellers can choose according to their own needs, but the exchange rates and fees for different currencies may vary.

Settlement methods: There are two modes available for settlement - automatic settlement and manual settlement. Automatic settlement means that the platform will automatically transfer the funds to the seller's bank account after the settlement period ends; manual settlement requires the seller to initiate a settlement request in the background, and the platform staff will make the payment after approval.

5. Merchant Rating and Evaluation Rules

Fulfillment Rating: The platform has the right to rate the fulfillment performance of merchants based on the timely delivery rate of hot reorders and the rate of false shipments during the evaluation period, dividing merchants into four levels: S (Excellent), A (Good), B (Fair), C (Poor).

Punishment measures: For businesses rated as C grade (poor) in the evaluation results, the platform has the right to and/or notify their affiliated companies and related partners to take measures such as restricting the withdrawal of funds from C grade businesses' accounts; if the store's delivery performance in the past 7 days is consistently at a poor level, it may face the risk of store closure and removal.

6. Rules for Product Sales and Promotion

Group buying rules: Consumers can initiate group buying, and set the group buying price by themselves when initiating group buying. If the group buying is successful, the goods will be purchased at the set price.

Advertising Placement: Merchants can place advertisements according to their own needs, but they need to comply with the platform's advertising placement rules and requirements.

7. After-sales service rules

Refund Policy: Buyers can apply for a refund if they meet the platform's specified conditions, and the platform will handle it based on the specific situation. Violation Penalties: If merchants violate the platform's transaction rules, they may face penalties such as fines.
