Prepare materials
Business License: Both enterprise business license and individual business license are acceptable. If it is an enterprise business license, it can be used to apply for multiple sites; individual business license can currently only open the first site in Taiwan, China. Ensure that the business license is valid and free of any operational abnormalities.
Legal person ID card: Provide clear and identifiable photos of the front and back of the legal person's ID card, which must match the legal person information on the business license. Additionally, a photo of the legal person holding the ID card may be required for verification.
E-commerce platform turnover: Some sites (such as individual business applications for the Taiwan site and corporate applications for the Malaysia site) may require providing the shop turnover from other e-commerce platforms in the past three months to prove your e-commerce operation experience. The turnover should include the shop name, order information, transaction amount, etc., and the number of orders and transaction amount should meet certain standards. If you do not have relevant turnover, you can try to obtain real and reliable turnover information through some channels, but be careful to avoid using false turnover, as this may result in the rejection of the shop application.
Contact Information: Prepare a mobile phone number, QQ email, and QQ number that have not been registered on Shopee for account registration and subsequent store management.

Account verification: After completing the registration information and submitting the required documents, you may need to verify your account through a phone verification code or email verification to activate your account.
Register through the business manager: You can obtain the contact information of the business manager by participating in Shopee's business activities or contacting Shopee's official business team. Submit the application materials to the business manager, who will assist you in completing the store registration process. This method may result in a faster review process, and the business manager can also provide some guidance and support for opening a store.
Waiting for review: After submitting the application, Shopee's staff will review your application materials. The review process usually takes 3-5 working days, but sometimes it may be extended due to a large number of applications or other factors.
During the review process, Shopee may contact you via email or phone to request additional information or modifications. Please keep an eye on the email and phone number you used during registration and respond promptly to Shopee's messages.
3. Set up shop
Change Password: After receiving the notification of approval, use the account and initial password provided by Shopee to log in to the seller center, and promptly change the password to ensure account security.
Complete store information: Fill in the store name, store introduction, logistics method, return and exchange policy, and other information. The store name should be concise, easy to remember, and comply with Shopee's naming conventions; choose the logistics method according to your actual situation, Shopee provides a variety of logistics cooperation options for sellers to choose from.
Upload Products: Prepare product images, descriptions, prices, and other information, and upload the products according to the requirements of Shopee. You can upload products individually or in bulk to improve efficiency.
4. Store Operation
Participate in training: Shopee will provide some training courses and materials for new sellers to help them understand platform rules, operational skills, promotion methods, etc. It is recommended that you actively participate in training to enhance your operational capabilities.
Shop Promotion: Utilize various promotion tools provided by Shopee, such as keyword advertising, limited-time discounts, coupons, etc., to increase the exposure and sales of the store.
